Anagog is reinventing the way brands can engage with their mobile app customers on a highly personal basis. By using the world's first, and only mobile sensor-based Edge AI technology (JedAI) that works in the phone and not on the cloud. With Anagog’s mobile engagement platform (JeMA) brands are able to create mobile engagement campaigns where the users receive personalized, context-relevant offers when it matters most. As this is all done in the mobile phone - the consumer’s data stays there by default and does not need to be collected by any remote cloud, hence meeting and superseding all privacy regulations.

Could you tell us a bit about what Anagog does? Please give a brief description of your company.

Anagog provides the only mobile engagement platform in the world that operates from within mobile devices; using Edge-AI technology, the platform enables hyper-personal engagement for brands without compromising consumers' privacy.


What sets you apart and makes you unique?

Anagog’s Edge AI technology, JedAI, is really what makes the magic possible :-). By implementing this technology, we are able to do a number of things that weren't possible before: 1) Locally identifying user behavior and actions based on the phone sensor data, without support from a cloud; 2) Triggering the campaigns from within the device, for true real-time engagement, at the exact moment something happens; 3) Combining the real-world behavior and actions with additional data collected by the app for 360-degree personalization, and 4) Achieving all this without needing to expose the customers' data and without requiring the company to collect and protect that data. Coupled with the on-device component, we have created the powerful JedAI Marketing Assistant (JeMA), that allows Marketers create these hyper-personalized 'campaigns' in order to communicate with their customers on a personal level. Using JeMA, Marketers can target specific audiences based on a wide range of online (such as purchases, memberships and demographic data) and offline behavior (such as physical activities, locations and transportation). In addition, they can choose to engage them individually, at specific moments (e.g. when they begin an activity, complete a ride or arrive someplace).

This way, the mobile campaigns are created in the cloud and implemented locally, so personal data is kept on the user’s own device. This means that all you have to do is to embed JedAI into your app and you automatically make your app more engaging, more personal and more private, leading to a better User Experience and greater customer satisfaction. And to make sure you can engage with 100% of your customer-base, establishing loyalty and trust with each of your customers, you can create different targeted campaigns based on the app data permissions each customer has approved.

Our team currently has 45 members, most of whom are developers, and is very technologically focused in terms of innovation and development.


Why is the Japanese market important to you?

Japan has always been a technology advanced country, with a passion for innovation, particularly with mobile devices and services. We believe that this mind-set makes Japan the perfect market for our innovative technology.


What are you looking for to make your next steps?

We are looking forward to the PoC's results in order to proceed with commercial discussions with the partners. With this we hope to be able to establish our presence in the Japanese market to be able to serve our local customers better.
